Delivery and Returns Policy

Last updated: 08.10.26

These terms apply to all orders placed on faketoshi.co.uk. Please read them before you buy. By placing an order, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

faketoshi.co.uk is operated by Mark Hunter, trading as Tulip Publishing, a sole trader based at 27 Sutton Grange Close, Harrogate, HG3 2UR, United Kingdom. You can contact us at orders@faketoshi.co.uk.

2. What we sell

We sell the Faketoshi books as printed hardbacks, paperbacks and a box set, and as digital ebooks (EPUB) and audiobooks (M4B). Printed books are produced to order by our print partner, Bookvault. Product images are for illustration, and the finished printed books may differ slightly in colour from how they appear on your screen.

3. Placing an order

When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming it. A contract between us is formed when your payment is taken. If we cannot fulfil your order for any reason, we will tell you and refund you in full.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are set in pounds sterling and may be shown in your local currency for convenience. The price and currency you will be charged are shown at checkout before you pay. Shipping for printed books is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. Your bank or card provider may charge its own fees for payments in a foreign currency.

We accept payment by credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers, and we never see or store your full card details.

If a price on our website is clearly wrong, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after we have confirmed it.

5. Pre-orders

Books listed as pre-orders will be dispatched or made available to download once they are published. We will take payment when you order. If the publication date changes, we will let you know, and you can cancel for a full refund at any time before your book is dispatched or delivered.

6. Delivery

Printing, shipping, customs charges and digital delivery are explained in our Delivery & returns policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Your rights to cancel, return and be refunded are set out in our Delivery & returns policy. In particular, when you buy an ebook or audiobook, you agree that the download can begin immediately and that you lose your right to cancel once the download has started.

8. Using ebooks and audiobooks

When you buy an ebook or audiobook, you receive a licence to download it and use it for your own personal, non-commercial use on your own devices. You may not copy, share, resell, upload or distribute the files, in whole or in part. All content remains the copyright of the authors. Each purchase can be downloaded up to 5 times within 30 days of purchase.

9. Our liability

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach, up to the amount you paid for the order concerned. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Your personal information

We only use your personal information to process and deliver your order and to provide customer support. See our Privacy policy for details.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you place your order are the ones that apply to it.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you have a problem, please contact us first and we will do our best to resolve it. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland or Northern Ireland. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
